RENEW YOUR MARRIAGE VOWS
We will be conducting wedding renewal vows for all interested married couples on Sunday February 19th during our 10:00 a.m. service. Whether you have been married for 60 plus years or have just recently committed to the marriage covenant. We encourage you to participate for God's glory, your spouses blessing as well as a testimony to your family, children and friends. We encourage you to invite all of your family and friends to share in this special event.
Dressing up is optional according to your desire and ability. In other words we have "no dress code." The important issue is that we commit ourselves to our God and to each other once again.

ABOUT MARRIAGE & FAMILY MINISTRY
We believe in God’s design for marriage to be:
• An exclusive, life-long covenant between a man and a woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:5, 1 Corinthians 6:16).
• An earthly relationship meant to last until the couple is separated by death (Matthew 19:6, 22:30, 1 Corinthians 7:39).
• An entity not to be ended in divorce which is hated by God (Malachi 2:16).
• A relationship in which both husband and wife seek to help each other grow in a fulfilling spiritual, emotional, and physical union (1 Corinthians 7:28).
• A relationship based on love and respect with both husband and wife submitting to one another out of reverence to Christ (Ephesians 5:21-30).
• The best environment for the raising of children (Psalms 127).
• The reflection of God’s love for His church and is symbolic of the deep devotion God possesses for His people (Ephesians 5:25-27, Revelation 19:6-9).
We believe in God’s love, mercy, and grace to cover those who have experienced divorce. Mountain View Christian Assembly desires to mediate and minimize the negative effects of the divorce on each individual, the children and the Church.
We believe in implementing strategies to nurture healthy marriages and families by:
• Biblical classes to strengthen marriages and families.
• Pre-marriage counselling to better equip new marriages.
• Free marriage counselling by Certified Marriage Specialists through the National Association Marriage Enhancement.
• Periodic Marriage enhancement seminars.
