 It was possibly a shock (maybe not a surprise) to hear our President articulate his support of same-sex marriages. He has a right to have his opinion and so does everyone else. Even though his opinion may have greater influence than mine, it is needful that I make my opinions known. I stand in total disagreement with our President’s viewpoint, not because of any malice or criticism towards him. Are you a hypocrite?  Me too.  I’m not proud of it, and try not to call attention to it (until now).  Often times, what I know and say I should do is not what I end up doing.  If you’re a hypocrite hunter, then one of your best hunting grounds is the realm of “Christians” – people like me.  Why?  Maybe because all of our moralizing, our condemnations, and our ceaseless attempts to draw boundaries around everything makes us easy targets when, after we denounce the sins of others, we imply that we are somehow perfect by comparison.  And of course,...
